Smoov Groovs vol 1, Mar 2005
This mix is the first Hip-Hop oriented compilation I've done in ages. I really like a lot of the music people like Pharell and Usher have been doing recently, but for me the king of the heap is Dr Dre. The stand-out track here is the steaming Dr Dre produced "Family Affair" by Mary J Blige, though honourable mentions go out to "Still" by Dre and "Trick Me" by Kelis.

Las Latinas vol 2, Mar 2005
Finally, the second volume of Latin tunes. A few tunes left over from the first volume, but many recent finds. Star of these is "Would You?" by Touch & Go. Kind of cheesey but I loved it when it came out and only recently tracked down a copy on eBay! Also on the list is some Tito Puente, a bit of J-Lo (in Spanish) and some Stephanie Mills ...
