Alan McKenzie has been an editor, writer
and designer in magazine, comic and Web publishing, for twenty years. The Story Works site is a chronicle of my involvement with such cult publications as
Starburst,
Doctor Who Magazine and
2000AD as well as providing an insight into some of my more recent Web oriented work.
The site is divided up into four main areas:
Web Consultancy: information about my website building and hosting services.
Publishing: This section chronicles my time working for Marvel Comics, Fleetway Editions (later Egmont) and covers the books and comic strips I've written over the years.
How to Draw Comics: This area provides additional information for readers of the recently-published Third Edition of
How to Draw and Sell Comic Strips.
Music: My other passion is Dance Music. In this section you'll find information on compiling mix CDs, a gallery of CDs I've mixed myself and useful tips on the sort of kit to use.
